Men’s “breakfast” meetings on Zoom
Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.
Each Wednesday, Men from Lake Oswego UCC and Hillsdale UCC meet on Zoom. These are informal gatherings where we discuss just about anything of interest to someone in the group. Centering Prayer meets on Tuesdays at 11:15 a.m. Join us online for the contemplative practice of Centering Prayer. We have a brief check-in and then pray together in silence for 20 minutes. Grief Peer Support Group
Wednesdays at 5:00 p.m.
Facilitated by LOUCC member Amy Grimm
We often hear that it takes time to move through grief. But time can move slowly, and sometimes well-meaning friends or family members have a different sense of when a grieving person ought to move on. On top of grief itself, one can feel alone, misunderstood, or unsupported by others who don’t share the loss, or who have processed it differently. This group will provide a safe and confidential space for those who grieve to support each other. You may come to one session or come every week; we won’t take attendance. We will offer warmth, mutual care, and a place to tell your story. Join us in the LOUCC Library on Wednesday afternoons from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Questions? Contact Amy at ymagrimm@gmail.com.
Sojourners on Zoom
Thursdays at 1:00 p.m.
Sojourners meets every Thursday at 1:00 p.m. on Zoom. Sojourners is a group for adults to connect with and support each other through discussion, laughter, and prayer. Crafty Fellowship
Thursdays at 2:00 p.m.
Crafty Fellowship meets on Thursdays from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Weidman Room. Bring your own project (knitting, sorting family photos, scrapbooking, sketching, etc.), work on a group project (prepping for church-wide events, LO Pride, other projects as they arise), or just hang out and chat.
