The visual and performing arts help bring to life the stories and traditions of our faith. God’s voice speaks to us not just through our ears, but also through our eyes, nose, hands, and the movement of our bodies.
Our worship space reflects the artistic gifts of our members. Decorative banners bring light and color to our sanctuary and rotate with the church season. Our altar holds the signs and symbols of our faith, and worship services often involve our congregation decorating the altar as part of the liturgy.
Our services frequently include poetry and dramatic readings as well as liturgical movement. We find ourselves gathering in circles or moving into small groups as part of our worship experience.
